Are you reading the Carpathian novels by Christine Feehan?
I have all of her's up 2 date except for the very last one. + 2 or 3 of her Ghost Walkers series.

I've read one, it's just badly written erotica mixed with vampires :|

Badly written erotica, the writing isn't bad it's just quite bland and uninteresting. Book was called Dark demon or something I believe, can't be arsed to check right now.
