As much as I enjoyed reading these books, couldn't help but think they overly formuleic

1.5 Everything is nice quite and boring
2 Evil is starting to awaken/empower itself
3 Druid attempts to warn world
4 World snubs attempt
5 Evil comes 98% victourious
6 A band of heroes arise
7 Heroes are unsuccessfull and several die
8 Sidenote heroes just happen to have ancesters in prevoius books
9 Close to total failure heroes find themselves
10 Druid Sacs himself for greater good
11 Through sacrifice heroes win at the end but at a cost
12 No possible way for world to forget this incident

1 World Forgets somehow

yea he wrote both seires with same basic story lines and if u think about it instead of using the anciestors its ^new^ people doing almost same shit that the anciestors did but still a good read

i read the series and liked it, good series if ur a casual reader
