Has anyone ever read a nice history book? I been thinking about reading one, but i don't know where to start.

What kind of history?
I read books on WW2 all the time. Other than that I'll browse other books as well. Medieval, Ancient history, Egypt, Rome, greece, Mythology

There's countless paths to choose in history.

I love American History, especially reading Civil War novels. I suggest the Civil War novels by the Shaara Family, The Killer Angels, The Last Full Measure, and Gods and Generals. They've made me spend hours online searching history information and I bet their other war novels are just as good.

I would rather read about something in European history
