looking for a new book series currently out of books to listen to on audiobook.

don't care if the main actor is male or female as long as its a good series with the same cast of players.

interested in books like Eragon and Night Angel trilogy where you can see the characters grow up during the books.

also okay with elfs, dwarf, magic, dragons, vampires, shape shifters and anything else that comes with fantasy theme books.

but not any boring narrators like the person who narrates The hobbit and Lord of the ring where it sounds so scripted and no emotion in the story nomatter what is happening.

also into books with corruption like the The girl with the Dragon tattoo and stuff like that. but more into the fantasy stuff. will listen to many different genres since I got around 7 hours a day I can listen.

I have listen to probly 150-200 different audio books so whatever ones you can list will be much appreciate incase you have some good ones I haven't listen to yet.

are there any books you recommend? I need to find something good to listen too

I primarily listen to female narrators. i've only read 20-30 books, most of which were on sale to get some variety.

Dunno if you like divergent. I thought the first book was ok (needs a better ending), but the other two weren't very good. same with hunger games.

Books i thought were ok:
Immortal Rules (newly made vampire, post-apoc)
11/22/1963 (guy goes back in time to save kennedy)
silence of the lambs (serial killer)
Blood Wager (newly made cookie-baking vampire vs werewolves)
Croak (girl becomes a grim reaper; ending wasn't expected at all, in a good/violent way)
Steelheart (supervillains take over the world, and a team of humans try to stop the leader)
Timebound (girl travels through time to stop a man who created his own religion. ending was meh)
Stonefather (orson scott card, was ok but nothing special)

Books i'd avoid:
Bunnicula
Deviants: Dust Chronicles, book 1 (YMMV, but i won't buy book 2)
Firelight (human/dragon romance, narrator over-emphasises)
Succubus Revealed: Georgina Kincaid, book 6 (nothing happened the whole time)
Before I fall (time loop, but was crap with silly romance)
Shadow and Bone, grisha book 1 (kinda boring... fights weren't satisfying)
Fledgling (newly made vampire, non-violent, pedo vibe)
Lady of Devices (i thought it was cyberpunk when i bought it, but it was actually steampunk...)
Bel Canto (only this author can make a hostage situation this boring)

/edit
I had a very difficult time getting into The Stand and Game of Thrones, so i dropped them. I'm about to start Godfather (full cast)

/edit2:
have you read dresden files? Spike @ btvs reads it. outlander is also on my todo list

i have a job, lol. i use audible. MSRP is 9.57$ each, but i buy most of em on sale, varies from 2.95 (deal of the day) to 4.79$ each (BOGO). a few i got in a buy-2-get-1 sale.

i listen on 1.5-3x speed depending on the book / where i am. average book is maybe 12h, so it amounts to less than 1$/hr. if you listen to 1x speed, it's like 41c/hr. especially if you're listening at work, just imagine that you're getting a 50c/hr paycut in order to make your job much more enjoyable.

Lol oh. Theres one websitr you can pay like $100 for the year and unlimited downloads. I get all mine off pirat*** n kick ass torrents unless its like some series where cant get book 3 out of a 6 book series lol. Hard to find good series sometimes. Some authors think more about quantity of books they publish not quality. The elemental assassin series author had a awesome story line but throughout the whole series she is constantly explaining everything you already know because she explained it 15mins ago. Not like most authors that will do a brief explanation at starting of book or whatever.

Its a shame because some authors think of really good story line they screw it up and make it hard to listen. Couldn't even imagine reading it.

I listen to audio books when working, and for the past few months I've been working on the Dresden Files.
The first book is pretty slow, and the narrator is kind of monotone (though it fits the character). However, later books really pick up the action and the narrator gets much better.
