If your going to read blizzard series I suggest you to read Warcraft Trio.

I recall of "trying" to read diablo's first book like 10 years ago and its so fail and boring I can't even describe.

And I'm sure due to blizz firing entire blizz north team im sure nothing about d3 is related to old story as its not related to world of warcraft after WOTLK.
