On the contrary looking back on Lord of the Flies I would say that its a great book. It is captivating and well written. Granted it has been like 8 years since 10th grade but i recall it being an enjoyable read.

Lord of the Flies is a classic with good reason. And you can't go wrong with Kurt Vonnegut (especially Slaughterhouse 5).
