I know this is about a TV show, but this is a comic series, so I decided to post it here.

Starting in late January, there will be a six-book comic arc that picks up about 9 months after the events of Serenity.

Anyway, I liked the series, but not really a comic book person =/

They did, but those focused on either character backstories, or the timeline between the series and the Serenity film. This takes place after the movie, and will hopefully bring some sense of closure to the series, particularly after the loss of Wash in the movie.
