I've been writing a book for my D&D campaign for the past few years. I am about halfway done with it. I don't get a lot of time due to work but when I can I work on it. I would really like some opinions on it if possible from people that are experienced with D&D. Maybe even someone interested in helping me finish it. I haven't decided whether or not down the road I'll sell it, but if I do I'd be will to share the proceeds. To be honest making money from it isn't my main goal, I really just prefer a fun memorable experience from my gamers. I have submitted a rough draft for my copyright license so hopefully that should arrive here shortly.

Monuments of the Fallen

Adventure Summary:

Brief lore speaks of a Demi-God who has gone rogue, during an epic battle involving the gods Layten: God who is the ruler of gifts and discernment and prophecy, warrior to the God Landren. Landren: God who signifies Light, and Sun, your heir and keeper of white horses. Tessa: The God who is the asset who will facilitate the kingdom of future heiress, and Mahkea: God Empress of the provisional gardens, and protector of the wild.

Amongst these gods were their students (Demi-Gods) awaiting their place to the throne. Tutored by the greater gods to grasp their full potential and study abroad to expand their powers; during which a war was brewing between the Gods and the Titans of Nodrog. These Titans felt that Gods were no longer needed, and their presence was far too powerful to allow their continuance to rule over the lands. Believers of their own rule the Great Elemental Titan’s felt having control over the elements was enough to protect this world and its inhabitants that they alone wield the power to control life. The understanding of mutual peace was doomed to be broken. As storms brewed and earthquakes shook the lands, the once large Continent of Kiatayssa was forced into a devastating split. It was never clear on what or who broken this peace, but was none the less fueled by power. As further lore unfolds it is rumored that a specific Demi-God that had gone rogue may have influenced the sides in accelerating this event. Who is this Demi-God? Did he/she in fact influence this war, if so why?

Please no flaming, honest constructive criticism is welcomed. I've spent hundreds of hours over the years on this, and am looking for some opinions. Does this adventure sound interesting or appealing?

I will gladly share more of my story if the interest is there.

Thank you for taking the time to review!

Hard to have any opinion on it since dealing with any godly type of war could entail very diverse types of adventures... TBH, though, (not saying your story might be bad, or anything...) having the knowledge that I have about Greek mythology, I very quickly get tired of and turned off when epic campaigns use the sequence of gods, demigods, and titans...Also seems weird that godly entities would be gaining power by "studying abroad"... I don't know what that would even mean.

Also, your geomorphology is a little weird on your maps. The rivers, I mean. Shouldn't they be coming from mountains to lakes to the sea? In the SW portion of the bottom map, that makes no sense. How could three rivers from mountains converge into each other?

Plus it's weird that every lake is as large as a mountain range.

p.s. have you read the silverclaw campaigns? They have some pretty cool ideas that might help you think outside the box instead of just copying greek myths. There are 3 or so different campaigns covered if you sift a little through the posts
