So I'm thinking about picking up this book series after I finished reading Michael Scott.

Only thing is I know there's a ton of books, some look more interesting than the others for me.

Any ideas if it's possible I can just read ahead while knowing the majority of what is going on?

Large print, thin-ish books, simple plot, you really don't need to read ahead. Even if you read ~1 hour a day, you could probably finish one a week, or more.

Also, from what I remember, the early books aren't that bad.

Unless you meant skipping an entire series (like the Greek vs Roman vs Egyptian)

If you read it by 'order' that they are serialized what order should one read then? I've only read Percy Jackson and the Olympians or something like that

I think it goes 1) the lightning thief 2) the sea of monsters 3) the titan's curse 4) the battle of the labyrinth 5) the last olympian. Also, Percy is in the roman/ Greek books which happen after those five books in the order of 1) the lost hero 2) the son of neptune 3) the mark of athena. The ones about the Egyptian gods are decent as well, but are unrelated to the other two.

I just finished reading the entire first set, it was a great read! I'd highly recommend it. I would also highly recommend readin in the sequential order, just because the character development is quite detailed and very well written! 8/10!
