Okay, been putting this one off forever. I've seen the movie so I have a recollection of the story but I wasn't expecting the intimacy of the actual text. I'm about 60 pages in to it right now and am convinced, to this point, it is the single greatest troll attempt ever attempted via a novel. Anyone else get this impression when reading it?
The descriptions and emotions communicated by the narrator would be borderline inappropriate even if they weren't aimed at a 12 year old girl lol...
