I tend to get bored and just write so here's 2 that I just decided to write down, gimme your feedback please. (I know it's not that good but just kinda came to me.)

We long for the day
We may also pray
Though we may be big or small
The day will come where we will see
That today is a good day
The day to be free

As the tree grows old
It is ever so bold
The closer to death
The less precious time it has left
Though we may not see
Our view may be blurred
We will and do know
That the tree will be forever precious to me

I liked the second one more.

I suggest when you write just relax, jot random things down even if its off topic or doesn't blend.
Trying to contain a writing due to its topic will hinder it. These both felt caged in.

yah that is the problem, i start thinking of the poem and then i get 3-4 lines in and i just dont know what to do, have big poetry unit next semester in school so need some poems
