There are a lot of suggestion threads floating around, so I thought I'd make one.

Looking for either sci-fi or fantasy, but would really like a good sci-fi book.

I just finished The Illustrated Man, and it was okay. However, I'm looking for newer books that would hold my attention better (it took me way too long to read that ~150 page book).

Thanks for suggestions!

Going to get the first in the Codex Alera series and give that a try, still looking for suggestions though.

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card

that is an amazing book but you should stop reading that series after you are done with that one, the others get worse and worse

The Dresden Files perhaps? Only read 1 book though, but I really liked it

Should be counted as sci fi (imo) but I'm not sure :>

Well, I'm looking for scifi or fantasy xD
I think I'll check out Ender's Game after the Codex Alera books.
I had been planning on reading the HHGTTG books, I even bought all of them at a yard sale, so I'll get around to them eventually.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Oh I will, it's one of my favorite movies xD
Ever since seeing the movie I've been wanting to read it, but I keep forgetting about it.
