I think I'm gonna start reading again this summer, and looking for some shorter stuff to read. I don't like big books. If book is big and happens to also be kind of boring, I usually take breaks in between reading them, and by the time I start reading again I've forgotten a bunch of stuff so I have to start over... (Collections of short stories can be bigger, I guess)

I'll read just about anything, but hoping for some science fiction. Try to keep them under 150 pages, unless a collection of multiple works.

I just picked up The Illustrated Man from the library, but I haven't started it yet.

Some I've already read:

Old Man and the Sea
The Pearl
Of Mice and Men
Lord of the Flies
Animal Farm
1984
Lovecraft
Slaughterhouse 5 (also plan on reading some other Vonnegut books/stories)

Thanks for the suggestions.

The Last wish - andrzej sapkowski
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1128434.The_Last_Wish?ac=1

Each chapter got a story of it own, ofc the MC is the same in them all. Not that large book either so should be nice. There's some chaps though that fits together with each other, but there's ALWAYS a story between them.

So something like

Real time- Story - Real time - Story - Real time. etc

I really enjoyed it and apparently the game The Witcher is based on it so :>

Awesome, I'll look into it, thanks.

/e Can't find any copies in the libraries =/
So I'll probably have to get it in ebook form.

Thanks.
The Veldt is actually the first story in the Illustrated Man, and what I'm reading at the moment.
