Hi all!

So I have an extra credit assignment for my Development and the quality of governance class, and I haven't really read a book in my free time in a while (My university/program likes to assign us immense amounts of work), and I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction of a book I could quickly get/read in the next two days (less than 300 pages pref, 120 range is ideal)

These have been our discussions

Wk 2: What is development

Wk 4: Measuring quality of governance

Wk 5: Institutions vs geography (In regards to is it the institutions or the geography in place that determines success)

Wk 6: Good governance

Wk 7: Democracy and development

Wk 9: Measure corruption

Wk 13: Corruption hurt development?

1984?
Pretty short (~150 pages I think) political satire novel. Probably not what you need since it's a fictional satire, but worth a try?
