Got any preferances? I could say tons of books I like without them being good for you :p

Like you have to name a genre :p

I'll name some fantasy books I've liked anyway:

The name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfuss
Night Angel Trilogy - Brent Weeks
Demon Cycle - Peter V. Brett
The Wheel of Time - Robert Jordan (and Brandon Sandersson finishing the books)

So you ask about good books and don't even give a shot to a literature's classic?! What's the point?!

Some people don't like "literature" much less literature classics.
Personally, I'd much rather read a fun, easy book than a "good" book.

That being said, I'll list a couple "good" books that I actually enjoyed.
Catcher in the Rye
Of Mice and Men
The Pearl
All Quiet on the Western Front
Old Man and the Sea (almost forgot this one)

Slaughterhouse Five
