Anyway forgotten realms in not all about R.A.Salvatore. There are other nice books/storys from other writers from the world of faerun.
but my answer is yes i read some F R and i like them.

my favourite is the "Story of Erevis Cale" trillogy.

My favorite forgotten realms series was the Elminster books.

And the Drizz't books were pretty good.

the sandril saga is brilliant too guys !! yeah but r.a. salvatore does paint a pretty picture when it comes to the drow,,,,, wow is all i can say . the drizzt books rock, faerun will live forever

the empires trilogy isnt what i expect from forgotten realms but it was actually pretty good. The neat thing about it was that each book was told from a different side and by a different author.

my favorite though is the avatar trilogy

BUT MY NUMBER ONE FAVORIT CHARACTER
IS R.A SALVATORE BECAUSE HE WAS A FUCKING GOD AND WROTE THE FUCKING BOOKS biggrin.gif
