Who's read the count of monte cristo. I must say, although it seems that it never it ends. its one of the best books i've ever read. I havn't seen the movie and currently on about page 750. and i must say, goodness, i love it. On of the best plots i've ever seen. I love how all the characters are slowly introduced and then intertwined.

It's probably one of the better books out there, but I'll agree, it's dragged on and on. I hate those kinds of books because the climax and ending can have a huge impact on if it was a worthwhile read. Most books in general are good reads.

question, (on page 800 atm) valintine doesn't love maximilean morrel senior right, not the guy who ownd the pharon in the begining but his son who is also named max morrel?

Movies never compare, I havent read the book yet but liked the movie.

the movie would of been better if it was perhaps release more recently, however the movie does not live up to the full effect of the book. The book is drawn out, but not in a bad way, it doesnt get to the point of why am i reading this, and the end lives up to your expectations. I found the end of the movie leaving less emotion then the book, abut thats just me
