I personally love reading about the IRA british/irish conflict in northern ireland as long as the civil rights movement and pretty much anything to do with socialism.

Two of my fav books are killing rage and the autobiography of malcolm x, what about you guys?

May I suggest the book Jig, from Campbell Armstrong?

It really made me interested in the Northern Ireland scene and all the movements and stuff. The book is by far a documentaire or something. It's just about the main British character following an Irish assassin. It was the first book I ever bought, after that Jigsaw and Heat were quickly added and they are sort of sequels to Jig.

Got any recommendations for more interesting reads about it? Preferably thriller / detective like ^^
