I just finished this book and it contains quite a few themes. I was wondering if anyone else has read this book and might give some of their insight on the ending. I'm not talking about what Anna does with her life though. I'm more concerned about the Reverend.

If you haven't read this book I'd suggest doing so. I found the middle to be very interesting and there were several factors involved that gave it quite a twist ending. The very end of it I did not enjoy as much but as a whole I thought it was pretty interesting.

whats the general idea of the book???

It's a novel about the plague. A town takes an oath and isolates itself so that the plague does not spread. At the end of the book you just get hit with a twist that I for one didn't see coming at all.
