Any1 else here loves poetry from the Romantic period?
I just can't get enough of it!

Inspired by these poems, I attempted to write one myself.

Any thoughts or comments? ( English is not my native language )

Also, any1 has any good poems or writers that I just need to read? ( My all-time favorite is Coleridge's Rime of the Ancient Mariner )

I like some of the Romantic poetry. My favorite would have to be Williams Wordsworth. I do not, however, like the early Romantic William Blake. I took late British Literature, and my professor was obsessed with William Blake. We probably spent three to four whole weeks on "Songs of Innocence and Experience." Don't get me wrong, some of the stuff in there is pretty good. As a whole, I find Blake was stuck on certain themes and his later works are too strange and abstract.
