Name of the Wind!!! Patrick Rothfuss.
Unfortunately, this book is an unfinished trilogy at the moment. The 2nd book is Wise Man's Fear. This book has so many layers in it. It is deceivingly simple yet extremely intricate. Many other readers say that this book doesn't have a single word that is wasted. I truly believe that to be so. There is an extremely detailed chapter re-read on this book on www.tor.com just google chapter reread. You will find so many things you haven't noticed and how well it connects with everything. People could study this book like they study the bible. The way it's laid out. The point of view. The actual scenes. I have finished these books 2 months ago and I still think about it everyday.
The book is about a clever boy that has many adventures throughout his life. There is almost magic involved. I want to say almost magic because its something not real, but the author uses physics and chemistry and everything to explain this detailed magic. Things don't just happen with a wave of a wand and "hocus pocus." It is intellectually described but yet simply for anyone to understand. You just HAVE TO READ IT.
If you have read this book, please leave comments. Try not to leave spoilers for those getting into the book though.
