Reading an abridged version now.

1,000 year old sexuality = awkward but interesting. Enjoying the story a lot though, especially the haikus and poems within.

just people writing about sex the year 1000 AD....... wierd. and awkward

its a novel but it largely focused on the sexual endeavors of Genji, the son of the reigning emperor and apparently a totally swole panty robe dropper slash pedo who kidnaps a 10 year old girl to raise as his own/marry
