I am looking for a literature site kind of like last.fm but for books. Does anybody have any suggestions?

I use the visual bookshelf application on facebook right now but it is really glitchy and doesn't do a whole lot more than just log what I've read so far and make very obvious recommendations based on that.

I'm sure I could find sites easily through Google but I'd like some recommendations if possible.
