Topic title.
What I mean by 'interesting' is that book that kept you entertained for most of the time reading it, you considered as really thought provoking, or thought was really cool and want to share it.

I've recently got really into reading for leisure, and am glad that I opened my eyes to a whole new world I always thought was boring :).
As a result I'm trying to get a good to-read list going, especially since the summer started and I'll have a lot of free time.
Any genre is welcome.

Thanks!

Hard Boiled Wonderland and The End of the World
By Haruki murakami
I finished all his books

imagine the story is 100%

ch.1 goes 1% and up
ch.2 goes 51% and up

it keeps going until 50% and 100% are met

A world in ur subconcious unlocked by going into deep freeze. Leading up to the freeze. And after he is in.
His shadow takes form in the subconcious world. They discuss but cannot agree upon a course of action. In the end each makes their own decision.

The Swarm by Frank Schatzing. Although i would not recommend reading the entire plot :D

Or The Malazan Book Of The Fallen if you are looking for a series of books.

The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Couldn't say just one :p

Reasons to why those two books: I've always been fascinated how someone can create something big merely out of their imagination. Tolkien's imagination combined with his extraordinary skills in English literature and language makes his works just incredible. Read these if you want to be fascinated by incredible skills in writing.

The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games is a young-adult science fiction novel written by Suzanne Collins. It introduces sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives in a post-apocalyptic world in the country of Panem where North America once stood. This is where a powerful government working in a central city called the Capitol holds power. In the book, the Hunger Games are an annual televised event where the Capitol chooses one boy and one girl from each district to fight to the death. The Hunger Games exist to demonstrate not even children are beyond the reach of the Capitol's power.
