#5 is actually getting published. Finally I get my Bran Stark POV chapters. Hopefully Hbo does it justice too.

i quit caring about 3 years ago to be honest. that said, the neckbeard can write so i will read it eventually, but probably won't buy it until later this year as i am reading other books.

here is to hoping it's better than "A Feast for Crows".

That old guy is too worried about that damn HBO series! Why have the series when the Books are not even done! Makes no sense to me!

I am at the end of the second book, not gonna finish until all the books are out.

(I might be dead by then though)

Hbo series seems to be coming along nicely, of course things are still lost in translation from written to acted but its very minor so far.

feast was a good read after i came to terms with the lack of my fav characters not included pov chapters



They did that with harry potter as well, i believe during the 4th book as well. Though JKR put books out much faster than GRRM. The horrible thing is the amount of major cliffhangers left unanswered in books 3-4 basically on basically every main POV character. and then the insueing wait littered with rumors of release dates from both publishers and the author that where extremely wrong starting around early 07' I believe maybe even '06.../e I remember when I was on the end of book 2 (actually the month i read the first 3), it was when 3 had just hit paperback. If I knew then what I do now I'd prolly still read em and just wait for the 5th again.

How far do the series actually go compared to the book story line?

you'd think that if you're posting in the books, literature, and stories section you'd spell correctly.

I started watching the HBO series last week and I crave for more episodes. That only means I should read the books which I intend to do. Went to the library earlier today and it was already lent out for the next two months. In addition, the only two bookstores in my city had them sold out, so I'll have to order the books over the internet. Hope they are as good as everyone say they are!

Tolkien is my favourite author and they say GRRM is our time's "Tolkien" - Hope I won't be disappointed.
