Just curious to see what your guys opinion on Kindle are? I have been thinking of getting one but not sure still
I read a lot but I am just worried that I may not like reading off a screen...I tried kindle on my Iphone but the screen hurt my eyes.

I hate reading on screen, tried reading some books on pc but I always ended up printing them out after reading a few pages.

Love mine. The screen looks like you are reading an actual book, no glare or backlighting. Lasts for weeks on one charge and allows me to torrent all the books my little heart desires. Only downside is that I sometimes miss the smell and feel of actual books.

Same here though the issue I have is carrying books with me when going out, I already carry a laptop and 2-3 (big) books for uni.

i have been reading hardcovers and paperbacks of all sizes since i was in the single digits of age...

i have a Nook and its fantastic, i can set it down and read without holding it, the screen looks very close to a book, it can browse the web (not fantastic but it works), it holds a bazillion songs and plays music (never seen a paperback do THAT)

not to mention news, magazines, etc

but its great

i do buy used books sometimes, just depends on what it is

That's one of the nice things, if ye know where to look you can just torrent textbooks for free and stick em on the reader, saved me about $400 this year.
