I've recently decided to pick up reading as something to do on my freetime, and I've just finished a couple of books. I find that I enjoy reading funny/informative books more than horror/thrillers.

Does anyone have suggestions?

20 y/o male, interested in things that pertain to reality & society (drugs, sex, crime, current events etc.)

You should read "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac. "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" by Ken Kesey would also be appropriate, as would "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test" by Tom Wolf.

I think you'll like it. Presuming you do, you should definitely read Ken Kesey afterward.
