Anyone else read it?

I have been for years, about to start the latest (#13)

I read up to Shadow Rising (#4) when school and work imploded so I have not had a chance to catch up at all.

However, these books are worth a look at, a corner stone of the fantasy genre.

I've actually just finished buying and re-reading 1-12 about two days ago, plan on picking up Towers of Midnight on Friday.

You could really see the difference in writing when Jordan passed away. Sometimes I'd be reading something in the Gathering Storm and I'd be like that doesn't seem like something Mat or Perrin etc, would say/do.

How ever, I really did enjoy it, Sanderson does a very good job in continuing Jordans work, and he seems so far to have no trouble filling his shoes.

Yeah, I immediately noticed in Gathering Storm.

But I agree, he did do a good job.

I can't wait to see how it ends, but I also very much don't WANT it to end.

Ive only read the first 2 books of the series. Are the rest of the books as good?
