R.A. Salvatore

I am pretty sure you would remember reading Sword of Truth series, it's pretty epic, especially the first four books. If their is even a doubt, then you have not read them :)

Mistborn is 100% worth checking out, I'm glad I did.

Haha touche. I realized that the book series I was thinking of was "The Sword of Shannara" by Terry Brooks. Not an altogether bad read, just a little more on the dramatic side and a little less on the action side.

A couple classic authors everyone (interested in fantasy) should read:

Robert E. Howard (Conan)
Fritz Lieber (Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser)

I read em when I was a little younger than I am now. Probably about 15 at the time. The plot lines didn't make much sense to me at the time...Kinda wanting to go back and read through em now xD
