Hello everyone, I am currently looking for a new book to read.
I am not looking for anything with fantasy ( monsters,magic, etc.).
I just finished that book named The Hunger Games, if you read that book and you know something similar please let me know.

There are similar stories like "Lady and the Tiger" and "The Lottey." There is also a really good sci-fi series about the world after an alien invasion with similar themes: "The Tripods" trilogy by John Christopher. I highly recommend that. if you want to try a more literary take on post-apocalyptic stuff, you can't go wrong with either "A Canticle for Liebowitz" or "The Road."

If you're into a more realistic, striking book DEFINITELY check out A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving
(he's also the author of Cider House Rules)

About a kid who believes that he's an instrument of God, to say the least. I haven't read the Hunger Games, and know nothing of it
but I honestly entered this forum simply to tell someone else that they HAVE to read the book haha. It's amazing
