I was just looking for some ideas. I just finished Earnest Hemingway's For Whom The Bell Tolls. I like fictional love/war books that are based on actual events in a sense kind of like the one I just finished. Shoot me some ideas you may have.

Anything by Ken Follett, fiction books, but heavily researched and based on real places and whatnot
