Quite possibly my favorite theme of all time. Read The Meaning of Night and it's sequel The Glass of Time and I'm completely hooked. The Count Of Monte Cristo was also damn good (obviously one of the best but The Meaning of Night had a better plot imo)

Any suggestions for such books?

Preferably revenge in an older setting preferably Europe, shoot me some recommendations.

My literary tastes are pretty specific, please no unbelievable plots or mystical powers, within practicality please.

Currently reading A Beautiful Blue Death by Charles Finch, Victorian-era murder/mystery, not too bad, prolly gonna read the trilogy.
