I just got Pillars Of the Earth a few days ago ^^ and it had a sticker advertisement for the series on the cover, sounds really interesting (of course I would read the novel before watching it), World Without End was great stuff though. It should be interesting to see how the adaptation turns out.

ah you read World Without End first?

timeline wise, Pillars Of The Earth happens i think 400yrs prior to World Without End

I also read Whiteout, A Place Called Freedom, A Dangerous Fortune, Code To Zero, and Hammer Of Edin

i think i have another book or 2 of his in one of my "2 be read" stacks

Yeah I picked it up in Borders on a whim lol, thankfully they seem to do pretty well as stand alone novels too, though I'm sure rereading World after I finish Pillars will be quite enjoyable.

Are his other books good as well? From what I understand Pillars was kind of an experiment for him, he normally writes thrillers or something right?

he seems to write a littlee of everything, whiteout is a thriller, dangerous fortune has thriller aspects but its just more of a multi-character life story with some love tossed in, code to zero is sorta a mystery

i found myself wary to try reading some of the books, because they take place in such different times and settings, but that was unfounded, it doesnt matter what it is, all his books are amazing
