Anyone read these books? If you have im on book 6 and its getting pretty good.

I haven't finished the first one yet, lol. I have a long list of books I want to read, but hopefully when I get to it, I won't regret it.

It's just a pity Robert Jordan died before he could finish the series.

Sanderson did a pretty good job though, IMO.
His pace is faster, though. You can tell in Gathering Storm.

Turned him whiny instead of funny

But otherwise, yeah he did good

Agreed A lot faster pace in the Gathering Storm than compared to the rest of the books that's written by Robert Jordan.

I read the first few awhile back.
I recall the series going downhill; the main characters became stale and uninteresting imo.
