I am looking for a good book series or single books I would enjoy. Books I have read in the past that I have rather liked are, the Eragon series, wheel of time series, lord of the rings series, Enders game, Harry potter series. I like books generally around there scope, so I would say fantasy adventure is the area I am looking for.

First, I love the signature/avatar you have.

Second, I think that the Magic the Gathering book series is pretty good for what it is. I remember getting pretty into them in high school (I read a few in the span of 2 weeks or so). They are more violent than the books you listed and while they are based after the Magic the Gathering storyline they are almost completely separated from the cards.

I also hear Dungeons & Dragons has some good stories which you may want to look into, they probably have a synopsis of them on their site.

Thanks ill look into those if I can find the books locally. Still looking for more suggestions, of all the books I mentioned, The Wheel of Time series has to be the best I have ever read so anything along those borders would be nice to know of.

Riftwar Cycle by Raymond E. Feist
The Forgotten Realms by R.A Salvatore
Keeper of the Swords by Nick Perumov (haven't finished it, but still topnotch books.)

Some few suggestions, all fantasy and a medieval setting, sort of.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan are more nowdays settings with some Greek mythology inspiration, surprisingly good.

/e och yeah, The Deed of Paksenarrion by Elizabeth Moon are #1 favorite ^^

Forgotten Realms is not BY R.A.Salvatore, his books fall into the GENERAL collection of Forgotten Realms, which includes dozens of authors, hundreds of books, dozens of games, several movies, and much, much more

R.A.Salvatore writes in trilogies and quadriliogies which each have a conclusion but tie into the next set based mostly on characters and locale

I second the Percy Jackson series, great series, even if its light reading for anyone older than 13

my point is its not called forgotten realms, whatever you are reading, its in the general forgotten realms setting, but the series is called something different

if you just search forgotten realms on B&N you will get like 700 results
