This is perhaps one of the best books I have ever read of my own free will. Its short and sweet and gets right to the point. I encourage you alll to read it, it definitely teaches some good life lessons that will help you out when you are searching for meaning in life and yourself.

just finished reading '11 minutes' - very interesting views in that too - try it if you like Paulo Coelho!

I liked it too, loved the desert.
If u want another good book, read 100 years Solitude from Gabriel Garcia Marques.

No, how`s that?Although Alchemist is pretty childish, the other one I read - "Fifth mountain" is actually pretty interesting from historical and religous point of view.
