Yup, on my third book

first 2 were
Days of Air and Darkness
The Black Raven

both by Katherine Kerr
older books, so there are a few typos from whatever scan process they use to convert to an e-book, but easy reads non the less, each was in the 375 page range (according to the nook's page counter @ 12font)

now i'm reading The Stand by Stephen King, the unabridged version which shows as 1164 pages O.o, i'm about 455 pages in, and its an AMAZING read, if you like "Armageddons Children" of the Sword of Truth series, and you like King books, you will probably like The Stand

i also read the sample of "Shades Children", which is another book along the same lines as the previous 2 i listed, and i'm probably going to buy it, since it seemed quite good, at least from the first ~10 pages of so i was able to read on the free download

I still have yet to try a PDF on the nook, but i have played around with the web browser, read a blog or 2, and tried importing my own pictures for screensavers and backgrounds (easy enough, but most standard PC formats wont look right, so you may have to take the image and clip out the proper size to make it look right with no gray bars on the top/bottom)

Have you read the Dark Tower series, by Stephen King? If you like The Stand, you'll love the DT series.

I agree with Legend, after you finish The Stand you should start on the DT Series. Most epic story I have ever read, and you'll recognize a great character from The Stand.
