I wrote these limericks for an english class like 2 years ago. It was actually a pretty fun assignment, I came up with a few more than this, but these are the ones that I liked best.


There was once a man who lied
Though he lied for the sake of his pride
He ran from the shore
Away from the war
As friends had all fought and died

There once was a man who felt
That his cards had been poorly dealt
But he knew he could win
With a single swift sin
As he drew an ace from his belt

i like the second one better imo

I think I do too, I like the line:

With a single swift sin

It's fun to say lol.

haha both are clever


second is better because it delivers more of a surprise
