Its a few lines from King Lear, but IDK how to set it up between two characters.

I am using MLA format.

The lines are as follows:

EDMUND I hope, for my brother's justification,
he wrote this but as an essay or taste of my virtue

GLOUCESTER (Reads) This policy and reverence of age
makes the world bitter to the best of our times,
keeps our fortunes from us till our oldness cannot relish...

How would I use this direct quotation? Show the names?

If it's 4 or more lines you do block quotes, basicly exactly like you did here, names all in caps, and add in parenthases author and lines you quote (if you're only talking about 1 play you only need cite the author once.)

your essay here blah blah:
EDMUND: I hope, for my brother's justification,
he wrote this but as an essay or taste of my virtue
GLOUCESTER: (Reads) This policy and reverence of age
makes the world bitter to the best of our times,
keeps our fortunes from us till our oldness cannot relish... (Shakespeare, line numbers)

Block quotes actually have to be indented as well. The entire thing.
