So I really want to start reading novels more, but because of the world we live in..it's easy to get hindered (TV, computer, ect)

Please tell me some good things that come out of reading, like why it's good for you and positive benefits
I am easily motivated by things like that, (it increases your vocabulary, eyesight, knowledge increases) and so on

If I were to read, it would definitely be biography types of books, because I like learning about people's lives and life story
so please recommend some good ones if you know

Increases vocabulary and knowledge, true. But eyesight? Not so sure about that ^^

Well reading is a good way to learn new emotions and different ways of thinking.
When a person writes a book they are literally letting you into their mind, giving you a sneak preview as to how they think.
In general I think it helps you to become more intelligent, which is never a bad thing

Well reading books has endless advantages and no disadvantages only that you get tired by it.

- Obtaing more insight
- The only limits are your own fantasy (depending on the genre offcourse)
- Obtain more knowledge
- Vocabulary
- Another thing you can talk about to people
- ...

you're right, in our time, reading is complicated
that's why i read mostly in the bus or train, when i haven't got other things to do =)

good reasons for reading:

- there are many books that you should have read in your life, Homer, Vergil, Goethe and so on, it helps in a conversation when it comes to books
- it's good for your fantasy (you have to 'see' the story in your mind)
- get better vocabulary
- more knowledge (historical books)
- ...
