Well, I tried to read Dante's Inferno, but I honestly can't stead reading things like that. D:

Is there a book very similar to what Dante's Inferno is about, except in an actual story? Non-poetry like. >.>

Very interesting concept, I'd love to read something like it.

Well, even a book that's relatively close to the same subject would be nice.

I still plan on reading/finishing up Dante's Inferno, but a nice book or maybe even a trilogy(or more) would be nice.

What is with you guys and Twilight?
No, Twilight and Dante's Inferno are VERY far apart. -_-

The Odyssey and the Inferno aren't really the same thing. I think Paradise Lost and the Inferno are very similar but they are similar in style, too. I'm not sure of any contemporary books on this subject but it so bad ass a concept I can't imagine they don't exist.

That's what I was thinking. I've heard from others that The Odyssey is a good book, so I'll definitely be looking that one up. I'll be sure to check out Paradise Lost, too.

They made a God of War knockoff video game about it?

Seriously though, if you have a problem with poetry style, you're gonna have difficulties with the Odyssey and Paradise Lost as well. However, if it's just the rhyming that bothers you in the Inferno you could look for a different translation. I found Lombardo's to be quite good.
