Im thinking about writeing a book. a couple actualy. and i dont really know how to get into it or where to start.. has anyone ever wrote one or thought about writeing one that can give me some tips or guidlines as to how i get started and how to make sure it dosent suck?

first you should get the main idea of the book ( the story of which type of character, and the main events happening to him ) just an idea right, there's no need to think all the book before writtin it, cuz you would need to be over gosu or really used to writtin to be able to do it
and then you try to imagine events of less importance which take place during the story to "fill in the blanks"
of course you can also try to write it at once ( without forethinking i mean ) but as i tried writtin some different stuffs this way i've seen that, as you have a lot of imagination ( if you wanna write u have ) the story has a bad tendancy to take any directions and most of time it sucks :/ just a bunch of uncoherent ideas
my method ( which fits me at least ^^' ) is to write down the very beginning and the end, and then complete the middle with ideas that will fit the main story since i know where they aim as i've already written the end
don't get afraid tho my english sentences aren't that great i know but i don't write in english

i write in french ^^' but actually i've tried to start a little something in english but i kinda lack time
and yup ive written 3/4 novels more or less achieved i've tried not to stay in the same kind of book, so theres one for kiddies, one fantastic ( i can't say s. king like cuz i wouldnt dare comparing my book to his ), one more or less psychologic and a drama ( the worst imo is the psycho cuz i'm not into complicated stuffs )

Interesting phenomenon. A Frenchie who can speak English and Italian. My first language is also French, but my mothertongue is English , and I'm learning Dutch as well as Hrvaat .

yeh this kinda frenchie does exist just kiddin' we're not a bunch of illiterate people or as much as the others ^^'
i just like bein able to talk to everyone so i try and learn all i can when i have more time i'll learn japanese probably and german ( at least some phrases and a quick -how-to-express-yourself book )

wow thats pretty dope.. i can kinda speak spanish lmao.. but ive only been taking classes on it for 3 highschool years..kinda wish i had a second language and could write a foreighn book or foreghn film or something lol

don't misunderstand me m8 i haven't said i could write a whole book in english ( well i kinda said it but what i didnt say is how lame and gross it would be ^^' ) what i like about writtin is findin a nice way to say things, a pleasant way to write ( as my philosophy teacher said 'your arguments are trash, but with a red ribbon ' ) and in english i don't have the freedom i have in french since i dunno all the words i would need to be satisfied ^^'

the lil bit of adviece i can give is that u dont have to start writing the book from the very beginnning. likre if u know what u want to happen in the middle and end u can write those parts first. then merge everything together later.

that would be hard. well... at least it would be hard to write the middle.. besides my book is going to be an on an event in my life.. so its gonna hav to be in chronological order... things leeading up to the events- event happening- result of the event.
