tell me what you guys think.
just some random poem/play idk i wrote one day.
i dont plan on doing anything with it, so idc if there are mistakes.

Davanu: “Tender'! Aid myself with my stale, type scotch.”

Bartender: “Fetching your scotch now! I will brew for you.”

Davanu: “Until then, I await!”

[Bartender leaves.]

Davanu: “Let's drink to Davanu!
As he slowly feels marble through his fingers,
running his hand along the table counter.
Thinking of the past,
and what he forgot.
and what he will forget,
with his next drink.
Until my awaiting is done,
none of this shall be drunk.”

[Bartender returns with a scotch, but hesitates before giving it to him.]

Bartender: “By the merry Davanu.
Why would you drink to this?
Why shall this drink be you?
The people that common here are rough down a path
A path of regret,
If I swear to watch this path,
You shall not be on it.”

Davanu: “Aye, but that is my path good tender'!
Taking back regret is no simple task.
Bring' forth and not return from this road
May be greater good for those around my remains, eh'?
Gung ho'!”

[Davanu drinks.]

Bartender: “By this path represents the depths, does it?”

Davanu: “You learn to care not why personalities took this path.”

Bartender: “This path is not the end of man, you may as well know.”

Davanu: “But the end will end the man.”

Bartender: “What stands from the end?”

Davanu: “I shall show you!
Gung ho!”

[Davanu drinks and walks unsteadily to a female, forcibly putting his arm around her and controlling her, interrupting the whole bar causing a scene.]

Davanu: “This female!
This is what stands at the end good tender'!
I can see from her eyes.
Her eyes tell me the stories of her own.
She!
She has been down this road and back my good tender'!
My good people!

[Davanu's eyes tear up from sorrow]

She!
Is the person that keeps you from breathing!
Many men have thought they felt her,
And more will continue to do so.
She thinks she has felt for many men, and never will.
By her heart of the cold,
She deserves this path my good friends.
I know not any of you.
Friends are not something I have.Or want.
Necessities however, come into play,
Then yes, I need.
Though, none will be.
Because friends are not something I want.
She is temporary
Friends are eternal my friends!
Nay, my people! Nay, listeners!
Hear me out my people.
Through light, her windows do break.
By the sun and the grass, this is not beauty!
She is not beauty!
Your wives n' child may be beauty!
Belief that this woman stands for beauty is the downfall of men.
Nay, gender two! Males and females alike downfall from this said beauty.
My thoughts know what she shall be,
And what road she has taken, walked, and forever will be down.
So light the butt and hug your child.
Or will ashes get in the way?

[Davanu takes her cigarette and burns her cheek with the flame at the end, causing her cheek to scar and become ashy.]

Man 1: Hell with you deceitful!
By god, hug your own damned self!

[Men trash around Davanu to the floor as the bartender escapes for help.]

Man 2: Your name shall be scratched from this bar,
Disgrace! You are a filth of a man!

Man 3: To the death! Disgrace of men deserve nothing more!
Learn why you love yourself man!
Judge not us for seeing the beauty this girl has.

Davanu: Your wrong.
This girl is not beautiful.
And that cigarette scar shall last her,
Life until rest.

[Everything dissaparates except Davanu and the bar. Davanu is lying on the ground, bruised, and a hooded figure walks into the bar.]

Hooded: “Ah, a seat at last.”

[The man sits in a chair.]

Hooded: “Please, Davanu, take thy seat.”

Davanu: “Aye me. Hallucinations work well on the squemish.
That for am I squemish,
If I was not,
Than you be gone.

Hooded: “Sit down Davanu.
I insist.”

[Davanu gets up from the floor and sits next to the dark hooded man.]

Davanu: “Your voice reeks of fright man.
What by call your name?”

Hooded: “Call me the hooded.”

Davanu: “Hooded. Your cloak is not of normality.
You are different.
Thou'st feel it as I.
I've seen not for sale a cloak as black as the pupil.
Hows't you wear it?

Hooded: "Crafted my good sir.
Anway, point is not my cloak.
I have an interesting offer for you
Good Davanu.

Davanu: "What may be this offer?"

[The hooded man takes the scotch glass from earlier and withdraws a bottle. He pours a pure black liquid into the glass, and slides it near Davanu.]

Davanu: "A drink?"

Hooded: "Yes.
-By no name can you buy it
-By no eye you can see it,
-But it can cause your eviction.
-It has no name
-So I have given it
-This drink is called Addiction.
The heaviest of ales."

Davanu: "Thous't I drink it,
I know not what will happen.
So shall I drink?"

Hooded: "You have such choice.
You may drink it.
You may not.
If you however choose to drink it,
Until your glass is empty
You will be insighted on everything you missed.
Everything you will forget.
Everything that will be taken.
Your happiness
Your sorrow
The next few rounds of minutes will promisely be
The most insightful
I swear.
However, this drink is called Addiction,
Isn't it?
When you drink it, you will want more.
When you drink more, you will crave more than the last time.
And so on, until it is empty.
When it is empty, then you will pass.
But you will want to see this.
I swear."

Davanu: "Then gung ho."

[Davanu sips a tiny bit.]

Davanu: "By god.
Tasteful ale.
Now speed Hooded,
what insight have you broughten?

Hooded: "Very well."

[The hooded man takes out two pictures. One of an older girl, the same age as Davanu. She looks immensely sad, her face is pale, her eyes look depressed; but she is smiling slightly. Davanu thinks this girl shows beauty. The hooded man takes out another picture, of a child. This small girl looks like the first girl, but happier and livelier.]

Davanu: "They be?"

Hooded: "This woman, the older,
Is your wife.
In one year and twelve days, you will meet this.
She is depressed,
As you may see.
The smile?
Is you.
You become hers.
She becomes yours.
You stay with her until your passings."

[Davanu starts to crave the drink, and sips more this time.]

Hooded: "The girl, the young.
Is your daughter.
With the first.
She loves you.
You love her."

[Davanu drinks more.]

Davanu: "So this is what I behold.
My future.
Make them happy?
I don't think I will.
So Addiction may have me,
because I have it.
So let us drink,
Every last bit.

[Davanu drinks the rest.]

Hooded: "Then so it be sold.
Here.
This is your certificate of birth.
Here you see your birthday
Here you see your decist date.
Care to write it in?"

Davanu: "By my heart,
I'll do what's best."

[Davanu signs his death waiver.]

Hooded: "You man.
Have earned a chance.
In one minute, I will walk again.
Into this bar.
Looking like a gentleman.
I will offer you Addiction.
You have the choice once again to drink,
Or to leave.
Happy birthday."

Davanu: “Tender'! Aid myself with my stale, type scotch.”

Bartender: “Fetching your scotch now! I will brew for you.”

Davanu: “Until then, I await!”

[Bartender leaves. A gentleman enters.]

Gentleman: "Hello Davanu.
Care for an ale?"

[Gentleman pours Davanu a scotch cup of pure black liquid.]

Davanu: "You know what Death.
I care.
My family shouldn't suffer from my mistakes.
By my thoughts and my dreams,
I want the best for this woman.
That woman is beautiful.
She showed beauty.
I do not show such beauty.
I cannot give her what she desires.
Her desire can be me.
It shall not be.
For I am not bad.
I am better.
Gung ho."

[Davanu drinks the whole cup quickly.]

Gentleman: "The greatest man doesn't always know best."

Davanu: "Let us go. I have a meeting with the Devil."

Gentleman: "Your place is nor hell.
Nor heaven.
You are the in between.
You shall forever watch your wife."

Years later.

-

The girl from the first photo: "Please don't hurt me anymore.
I try to make everything perfect!"

[The girl gets beaten by a man.]

Man: "Your worthless.
I don't see how anyone could've loved you.
Your a failure."

[The girl gets beaten by a man.]

-
---
Somewhere in between heaven and hell and earth.
---
-

[Davanu sitting invisibly in the room watching the girl from the first photo get abused.]

Davanu: "Death, you play a sick game.
Instead of life,
I live worse than hell.
I have to watch the love of my life.
Get beaten.
Every day.
I beg him to kill her.
Please Death.
