I read when I was 11 and enjoyed. I was so impressionable that I e-mailed the author and was like HOLY SHIT YOU'RE A FUCKING VAMPIRE, to which he replied "lolwut?" then sent me to goatse.

Lol. I disagree. I enjoyed the series, and i'm a bit young. (17) But not 11. If you're into the whole, macabre scene, his other series the Demonata is better, but Cirque Du Freak isn't too bad.
