I do not get lost in the woods for the tree is my friend.

moss grows on trees but only on a certain side, if you know what the growth pattern is for the region you can use the trees to orient yourself if you are lost without a compass

even if he's lost in the woods, if the trees are his friends then he's not alone and it's not lost because he is surrounded by his friends :)
