okay so i read a book a day in school and my friends were telling me that i can get free books online.
is there a place i can get them, like download and read of my comp?>
any help would be nice

look for the top ten e-books, you can commonly find a few best sellers for free, you will need to download some form of e-reader

yes, hence me saying free, dont ask ME why they do it, but amazons top 10 are free, and BN has several free e-books as well

It depends on what genre you want to read. There are some websites where people upload .pdfs to file-sharing websites.

Project Gutenberg has pretty much all of the classics and everything that no longer has a copyright. To find other free ebooks, you'll have to pirate them. You can message me if you want to know some specific sites.

Wow how could I have forgotten Gutenberg. I definitely vouch that place. I have gotten several things there. It can be annoying though because they are just in text files sometimes.
