I was not a fan of Twilight really (my wife was) so I was roped into reading the entire Twilight series, and after the fact she picked up The Host. In my opinion The Host was a much better written book over all, as well as I enjoyed the general theme of the story, although I am a Sci Fi nerd when it comes to novels so it definately fit more into my style of reading.

I'm a Twilight fan myself, and I bought this book but never got around to it! I have like. . . 3 other books to read:
The Lightning Thief
The Sight
Frostbite.

I'm a very slow reader, but if you want another book to read, read hush,hush. Fantastic book. Couldn't put it down.

I'm not a twilight fan, I think those books were very poorly written.. Enjoyed this book though.

i was annoyed with the middle of the book the time in the cave / lava ness was annoying imo it was slow but i understand why it was there it just wasn't my style XD

from the point of he going to the cave to kyle trying to kill her was slow and boring to read imo
