Can be a sentence, paragraph, or excerpt. It's merit may be found in either it's meaning or it's aesthetical composition. I want to see what people have to bring.

I would need more time to go through some books to remember some great passages.
Here are some Charles Bukowski quotes I like:

"Baby," I said. "I'm a genius but nobody knows it but me."

It was true that I didn't have much ambition, but there ought to be a place for people without ambition, I mean a better place than the one usually reserved. How in the hell could a man enjoy being awakened at 6:30 a.m. by an alarm clock, leap out of bed, dress, force-feed, shit, piss, brush teeth and hair, and fight traffic to get to a place where essentially you made lots of money for somebody else and were asked to be grateful for the opportunity to do so?

The free soul is rare, but you know it when you see it - basically because you feel good, very good, when you are near or with them.

"God kills, and so shall we; indiscriminately He takes the richest and the poorest, and so shall we;
for no creatures under God are as we are, none so like Him as ourselves, dark angels not confined
to the stinking limits of hell but wandering His earth and all its kingdoms."

At any rate one who is enchanted as I am is not at liberty to do what he likes with his person for the one has placed the spell upon him may very well prevent him from stirring for three whole centuries
and if he were to flee he would be brought back flying

I respect a man that trys to overcome his fears, but i resent a man that trys to overcome death.

The whole secret of existence is to have no fear. Never fear what will become of you, depend on no one. Only the moment you reject all help are you freed."
