anyone else read this or ulti spidey?

I'm not familiar with the "Ultimate" comics. I own, however, all the episodes of the comics since the late 60's. X-Men is cool, but Spiderman tops it any time.

spiderman definately doesnt top xmen anytime. spiderman is one baddass superhero, but hes just one guy. xmen are the fucking xmen! u got soe many personalities and charecters to like or dislike. but i read the Ultimate Spiderman series also, with imo is the best spiderman story ive read.

The only thing that's keeping me from buying comics thesedays is the price... I mean ~10 Euro's for one comic is way to much. Even though the paper would be safe to wipe your ass with and the quality of the drawing hasn't been increased that much. Only exaggarated personal preferred styledrawings.

X-Men is cool, but I have to agree with Petertje (actually it's me, don't tell anyone) Spiderman was and is for me the real thing.

Damn, it saddens me to see that there is so little activity in this section... =(

dont buy single issues. buy tradebacks. it has like 6+ comics in each one.

Well, why don't you buy the comics that feature spiderman with the x-men? Those have always been my favorites.

i have vol 7 Ulti Spidey. he meets the xmen for the first time. pretty cool.

Hehe, I did. But they appear like once a year only. It's like 1/4th of the price of singles, that's true. Mostly I'm to late for them and they are all sold out =(
