Anyone have any good books they'd like to recommend?
I prefer no sci-fi/fantasy suggestions unless their caliber is near or on par with the Dune series (as a common reference point). Also, no romance novels please.
Some books/novels I've read recently and enjoyed would be Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris and Old Man's War by John Scalzi and the Dexter series by Jeff Lindsay.
